At the two sessions this year, NPC deputies and CPPCC members from the textile industry proposed policy recommendations on the restoration of industrial ecology, protection of industrial safety, and consolidation of industrial status.

Increase guidance and support for the development of the industrial textile industry. First, upgrade the level of industrial textiles in the national economic statistical classification system, and form four statistical classification systems for the textile industry, textile and apparel industry, chemical fiber manufacturing industry and industrial textiles, and improve the country’s information on industrial resources collection in emergency situations, production organization and deployment. The second is to improve the construction of standard systems for emergency industrial textiles and medical and sanitary textiles in response to social emergencies, and to establish the “National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Textiles” to achieve comprehensive overall management of industrial textile standardization. The third is to establish and improve an emergency reserve mechanism for masks, protective clothing and other important materials.

 

Strengthen support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and provide policy support for deferred payment of taxes, insurance, etc.

 

Strengthen the construction of a national-level international marketing service public platform, and actively respond to the challenges of global industrial chain and value chain reconstruction. Increase the intensity of stabilizing foreign trade policies to help companies enhance their ability to respond to pressures and risks.

 

Increase the guidance and support for brand building, enhance the consumer confidence of independent brands and the confidence of Chinese culture.

 

Suggestions to promote the healthy development of the cotton and textile industry, and increase guidance and support to the textile industry cluster and industry.

 

Promote the inheritance of traditional textile culture and promote employment.
