The textile and apparel industry start to innovate the exhibition service model

Affected by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic this year, many exhibitions and local professional exhibitions held in the textile and apparel industry in the spring have been stopped or postponed. This has caused the industry to encounter unprecedented problems. Recently in the textile and apparel industry, a number of “cloud exhibitions”, “cloud releases” and “cloud orders” have emerged one after another, trying out new modes of exhibition services.
Under the normalization of the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Commerce proposed to innovate the exhibition service model and promote the industry to accelerate recovery and development. One is to actively create a new platform for online exhibitions. The second is to promote the integrated development of online and offline exhibitions. The third is to cultivate leading online exhibition companies and brand exhibitions.



On April 16, the 2020 Hangzhou International Fabric Fashion (Spring) Cloud Exhibition and the launch ceremony of the Yuhang Home Textile Full Industry Chain Resumption were held in Zhejiang. The format of this exhibition is not only the new trend of sharing home textiles on the Internet, but also one-click experience on the online exhibition platform. After the three-day “cloud exhibition” is over, there will be popular network anchor for online live broadcast and cloud shopping, gradually making the online promotion model normal.
From April 27 to 30, MODE 2020 autumn and winter clothing and apparel order meeting is coming. In the future, the online ordering platform will always become a part of the development and maintenance of the MODE, and more functions and services will be launched online, which will promote the vitality of the entire industry.
