Jiangsu-Ukraine Textile and Apparel Industry Round Table Meeting held in Shengze

On the morning of November 29, the Jiangsu-Ukraine Textile and Apparel Industry Round Table Meeting was held in Wujiang High-tech Zone (Shengze Town). More than 20 representatives from the Ukrainian textile and clothing industry met with the representatives of Shengze Town government and Shengze enterprises.
At the roundtable, the Ukrainian delegation first watched the promotional videos of Jiangsu textiles and clothing and Shengze Town, and learned about the silk cultural of the silk city Shengze and the development direction of the modern “fashion city”. As an important silk textile production base, export base and product distribution center in China, Shengze is well-known at home and abroad.
The two sides stated that they will keep close exchanges in the future and obtain cooperation in such aspects as industrial upgrading, fashion creativity, technology research and development, and economic and trade exchanges. At the meeting, representatives from more than ten Shengze textile enterprises brought hundreds of new and distinctive fabrics to the site for docking with Ukrainian representatives, and the atmosphere was warm.
