The 16th “World Brand Summit” hosted by the World Brand Lab was held at the China World Hotel in Beijing. The 2019 “China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands” analysis report was released. Among them, 35 textile and apparel brands represented by Erdos, Weiqiao and K-BOXING were on the list.

This report not only reflects the company’s brand value and position in the domestic counterparts, but also understands the gap between the company itself and world-class brands.

The analysis report of China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands in 2019 is based on financial data, brand strength and consumer behavior analysis. According to the report, the total value of China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands in 2019 was 21,871.033 billion yuan, an increase of 3,425.122 billion yuan over last year, an increase of 18.57%.

In 2019 “China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands” list, 27 brands from food and beverage, light industry, building materials, media, textile and apparel, medicine, machinery and other related industries were selected. Among them, the food and beverage industry is still the industry with the largest number of selected brands, with 84 brands, accounting for 16.80% of the total number of selected brands. The second to fifth industries were light industry (50), building materials (41), media (36), textile and apparel (35). This year, 47 Chinese brands are worth more than 100 billion yuan, six more than last year.

Professor Robert Mundell, chairman of the World Brand Lab and Nobel Laureate in economics, said that big data, Internet and artificial intelligence have brought new hope to the growth of Chinese brands. Chinese brands are closing the gap with world brands at a remarkable rate.
