Focusing on cultural integration, gathering strength and innovation - China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Innovation Exhibition opened grandly in Yongyuan, Beijing

On June 28, as the first cultural park with intangible cultural heritage as its theme, Yongyuan in Beijing officially opened (address: No. 4 Yongsheng Lane, Happy Street, Dongcheng District). On the same day, the “China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Innovation Achievement Exhibition and Beijing Capital Land Intangible Cultural Heritage Design Innovation Exhibition” jointly organized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office of the China National Textile and Apparel Council and Beijing Capital Land Intangible Cultural Heritage Innovation Platform opened at the Qionghua Exhibition Hall in Yongyuan.


 

 
The exhibition is based on textile intangible cultural heritage and integrates crossover innovative works, mainly from North China, Southwest China, South China, Central China, East China and Northeast China. It involves 15 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. There are more than 70 exhibitors and more than 1,400 exhibits. The exhibits are made of different intangible cultural heritage textiles, costumes, traditional hand-woven fabrics, woven blankets, batik art, embroidery art, household items, home decorations, ceramics, stone carvings, bamboo carvings, wood carvings, folk traditional handicraft and tourist souvenirs. The exhibits are based on the characteristics of innovation and transformation, such as market development potential, fashion, life practicability and cultural integration. Zhang Yichao, a well-known designer and China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Ambassador, is invited to be the curator.
 

 
 
As the first intangible cultural heritage theme cultural park in the country, it will be based on intangible cultural heritage, multi-industry integration and charm elements. Through the introduction of special events, industry forums, intangible cultural heritage innovations, boutique exhibitions, etc., we will continue to inject vitality into the park and enhance the quality of intangible cultural heritage creation parks.
