China Tanboocel Union Forum on Sustainable Development was successfully held in Turkey

On March 20, 2019, at the invitation of the Turkish textile industry, China Tanboocel Union held “New Textile Materials and Sustainable Development Forum” at Hilton Hotel in Bursa, Turkey. More than 100 Turkish local outstanding textile enterprises, brand representatives and relevant media participated in the forum, aiming at promoting the deep integration of industries, promoting sustainable development of the industry, matching with international brands and achieving win-win cooperation. The meeting was hosted by China Tanboocel Union and co-sponsored by CEYTEKS and SEGANA of Turkey.
Ms. Ceyda Ocalan of CEYTEKS, Turkish Office of China Tanboocel Union, presided over the meeting. Ms. Ceyda Ocalan has been engaged in textile industry for more than 30 years. She has a profound understanding of the whole Turkish textile market. She is very concerned about the concept of green sustainable development of textile industry in recent years, and actively promoted the successful convening of this forum.
Yue Fusheng, vice president of China Tanboocel Union, attended the meeting and gave a keynote speech. He pointed out that the expectations of high quality, high performance and sustainability put forward higher requirements for the global textile industry. Turkey's textile industry has a solid foundation, strong R&D capability and extensive market cooperation, but there are shortcomings in the R&D of new materials and production. Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd. has unique advantages in Tanboocel fiber, rayon, acrylic fiber and industrial textile materials. It can continue to provide Turkish textile with textile materials and help enterprises to enhance their competitiveness. China Tanboocel Union continues to carry out international cooperation, and its influence is increasing day by day. The Union will continue to lead the healthy development of textile industry in terms of green raw material supply, green industry chain building and green consumption, and provide more systematic services and comprehensive support for Turkish partners.
Ms. Sun He, European manager of Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd., introduced the R&D, application and development trend of bamboo fiber and rayon. Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd. attaches great importance to the selection of raw materials, production process control, comprehensive utilization of energy and improvement of environmental protection and safety system, and it is a responsible supplier of raw materials. Ms. Sun He also shared with delegates on product testing, certification, identification system and bamboo fiber characteristics.
On behalf of ELYAFTEKSTIL A.S of Turkey, Mr. Sami Yavuz introduced that they have used the raw materials from Jilin Chemical Group for many years. They cooperate with well-known brands ZARA, MANGO, H&M to develop fabric products. They combine bamboo, cotton and other concepts with terminals to promote the sustainable development of green textiles. Thank China Tanboocel Union for its support in developing new products.
At the same time, an open interactive forum was held during the conference. Participants jointly discussed on the improvement of product quality, extension of industrial chain, matching with international brands and technology, dyeing and finishing in the textile process. They all agreed that they should work closely together, communicate effectively, and achieve win-win results.
