Milan fashion comes to Keqiao
Sino-Italian activities will be unveiled at Keqiao Fashion Week

From September 18th to 21st, 2018 Keqiao Fashion Week (Autumn), hosted by the People’s Government of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City will be held in Keqiao, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. Keqiao, which is in the new era of high-quality development, is actively grasping the strategic opportunities of the “Belt and Road” and fully integrating the international fashion ecosystem, to comprehensively build a new pattern of opening up to the outside world. Based on the new situation of industrial development, The Fashion Week will focus on the “Belt and Road” layout of China Textile City to explore and strengthen cooperation and exchange with Milan, the international fashion capital.
“Politecnico di Milano Graduation Show” will make its debut during the Fashion Week, and Arturo Dell’Acqua Bellavitis, Former President of Fashion Design at Politecnico di Milano & Director of the Milan Triennale Foundation and Exposition, will deliver a professional speech on international fashion and innovative design. Meanwhile, “Silk Keqiao - Milan Pavilion” is to be opened in Milan, which will primarily select the local high-quality fabrics from Keqiao to be displayed in Italy. It is planned to launch a series of fashion matchmaking activities in late October.
Politecnico di Milano is one of Europe's top universities of science and technology with a long history and strong faculty. It is also one of the world's top universities of science and technology and is well known in the design, architecture and engineering world. “Politecnico di Milano Graduation Show” will showcase 50 sets of garments from the outstanding graduates of the School of Fashion Design, Politecnico di Milano, Italy. The garments are mainly sportswear, casual wear, knitwear and other categories. These works carry the passionate fashion and costume art sentiments of the new generation of designers of Politecnico di Milano, which will bring personalized concept expression, avant-garde bold artistic imagination, and sensitive sense of judgment and thinking about the current lifestyle and the commercial value of fashion.
Throughout the international catwalks, many design masters, from Yevs Saint Laurent to Karl Largfield, had shown extraordinary design talents during their school days. "Oriental Milan" International Fashion Show Center
In addition, with the in-depth construction of China Textile International Fashion Center, the Fashion Week this autumn draws experiences on the fashion weeks at home and abroad to fix the main venue of the show, with the "Oriental Milan" International Fashion Show Center as the permanent main venue. Moreover, the Fashion Week will be regularly held in Spring and Autumn respectively.
