The 21st Ningbo International Fashion Fair (IFFAIR hereinafter) Press Conference was held on October 18th, 2017. The IFFAIR, themed on “Ningbo Fahion, Fashion the World”, is to be held from October 19th to 22nd this year in Ningbo International Exhibition & Convention Center. It is mainly about “intelligence, integration, and innovation”, focusing on such three sessions of activities as exhibition & communication, catwalk show, and forums, so as to give a comprehensive display of international and local fashion trends, improve the garment industry fashion and intelligent level, build an international fashion industry base, and advance the construction of a “Well-Known City”.
Fashion Expo is a core activity during the IFFAIR, which covers an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters with 1,800 booths, and attracts altogether 239 enterprises and 210 brands, including 93 brands from the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, Canada, Korea, Japan, Germany, Russia, Pakistan, China Taiwan, and 26 prefecture level cities of mainland China. The brands from abroad and outside of Ningbo city accounts for 44% of the total. The increasing participation of non-local brands year after year shows the rising influence of the IFFAIR among the industry and indicates that more and more domestic and foreign brands choose this Fair as a premier platform to showcase corporate image and make business negotiations.

Highlights of the IFFAIR
This edition of the IFFAIR has strengthened cooperation with various sources in terms of fashion, industry, and commerce in order to enhance the authority of the Fair.
Driven by the related policies of “Made in China 2025”, Intelligent Equipment Zone has gathered a lot of garment equipment manufacturers, including not only hardware equipment but also intelligent software system, which will show a number of industry-leading technology to meet the intelligent needs of garment enterprises.
The active participation of overseas brands will further improve the international level of the IFFAIR, while the international brands account for 12% of the total this year. There is an international exhibition area specially setup this year, covering various categories such as babies and kids wear, sportswear, fabrics and accessories, and intelligent software.
The IFFAIR this year will focus on the whole industry chain services to carry out face-to-face trade meetings based on demand survey, accurate invitation, on-site matching and tracking services, so as to meet the demands of business participants.
Moreover, Garment businesses will enjoy more interaction, indicating the increasingly prominent platform function.
