In recent years, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has introduced more than 500 textile and apparel industry projects and built 5 national-level textile and apparel production bases, forming the largest textile and apparel production base in Southwest China and one of the country’s four major down processing bases. In 2020, there were nearly 300 textile, garment, leather and down enterprises above designated size in the region, with an annual industrial output value of 22.2 billion yuan.
