The government work report of the Two Sessions in 2021 stated that by the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Xinjiang’s permanent basic farmland remained above 41 million mu (excluding the Corps), and the comprehensive grain production capacity reached more than 32 billion catties. At the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan", the cotton production capacity will be stabilized at around 5 million tons, the good seed rate will reach 98 percent, and the machine harvest rate will reach 80 percent.
