According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to November 2020, the total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size across the country achieved 5744.50 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%, and the growth rate increased by 1.7 percentage points from January to October.

From January to November 2020, the total profit of the manufacturing industry was 4899.52 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1%. Among 41 major industrial sectors, total profits of 25 industries increased year-on-year, 15 industries decreased, and 1 industry remained flat. Among them, the textile industry grew by 7.5%.

 

From January to November 2020, among the industrial enterprises above designated size, the total profit of state-owned holding enterprises was 1,445.69 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.9%; the total profit of joint-stock enterprises was 4,058.01 billion yuan, an increase of 2.3%; the total profit of foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises was 1,610.52 billion yuan, an increase of 4.3%; the total profit of private enterprises was 1,733.22 billion yuan, an increase of 1.8%.
