Hebei Province recently announced that during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, Hebei Province has achieved significant results in industrial water saving and completed the tasks of the “13th Five-Year Plan” ahead of schedule.

During the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, Hebei Province formulated and issued relevant documents to encourage companies in coking, dyeing and printing, tanning, and papermaking to move to bases and industrial parks. Reduce industrial water and water pollution by popularizing measures such as centralized industrial wastewater treatment and reclaimed water reuse. The rate of centralized sewage treatment in the chemical park will reach 100% and the reclaimed water reuse rate will reach over 40%; support industrial enterprises for green manufacturing and create green factories and green parks. Hebei Province has so far created 185 provincial-level green factories and 13 green parks.

 

This year, Hebei Province issued an implementation plan for the establishment of water-saving enterprises in the industrial field, focusing on the establishment of water-saving enterprises in textile dyeing and printing, papermaking, tanning and other industries. Up to now, more than 500 enterprises have been identified as provincial water-saving enterprises.
