In August 2020, Pakistan exported USD 1.008 billion in textiles and apparel, a decrease of 20.83% month-on-month and a decrease of 15.39% year-on-year, and both showed a significant decrease; the export of raw cotton was 206 tons, a decrease of 92.3% year-on-year; the export of cotton yarn was 25,400 tons, a decrease of 10.6% month-on-month, a decrease of 40.46% year-on-year; exports of cotton fabrics were 167 million square meters, an increase of 1.72% month-on-month and a decrease of 17.72% year-on-year.
