It is reported that textile and apparel is one of Siyang’s “2 + 1” leading industries. After decades of development, a complete industrial system has been formed. At present, there are 569 textile and apparel enterprises in the county with more than 30,000 employees. In 2019, the county’s textile and apparel industry achieved sales of 14.2 billion yuan, accounting for nearly 40% of the county’s total industrial sales, and industrial taxation of 280 million yuan, accounting for nearly 30% of the county’s industrial tax revenue.
In the next step, Siyang will focus on the development of new textile materials, chemical fiber home textiles, industrial textiles, apparel, etc., continuously improve the level of industrial chain collaboration, and strive to build China’s emerging textile industry base and an important domestic chemical fiber industry cluster.
