Six Industrial Standards Passed Through Examination and Approval

Recently, the industry standard validation meeting on “handmade coarse quilt” and other five categories was held in Nantong of Jiangsu Province, with more than 50 experts and business executives at attending.

At the meeting, Dou Ruzhen, the director of the Technology Development Department of China National Textile &Apparel Council, give credit for standardization of bedding industry, and informed the general idea of national standardization reform; Zhu Xiaohong, vice president of China Home Textile Association, notified the quality situation of beddings in 2013; while Tao Yongying, the vice-general manager of Luolai Home Textile expressed understanding of the standardization work from enterprise’s point of view.

It is reported that the meeting finalized the industry standards of “handmade coarse quilt”, “handmade coarse sheet”, “brushed fabric quilt”, “brushed fabric sheet”, “knitted quilt”, and “knitted sheet”. After listening to the presentations of each standard drafting units, the experts proposed amendments for text character layout, technical indicator and technical clause of each standard in detail. Eventually, the six industry standards all passed through the review.
