The “Double 11 (November 11th)” refreshes record of expressage business volume again in 2014. According to the prediction published by the State Post Bureau of The People’s Republic of China published yesterday, the actual business volume during “Double 11” will be 15% higher than that expected, totalizing 586 million, with an increase of nearly 70% over last year. Faced with the extremely large number of parcels, express companies “took a tense situation calmly”. Some courier companies has expressed that warehouse overload would not happen again this year, with full preparation and the help from various platforms like Cainiao Network. However, due to the large amount of packages, delivery period will be extended and some will probably take two weeks to get to the buyers.
