The 17th of this month, the delegation of NCC, in cooperation with CCI, held a roundtable in Beijing. Mark Lange, the president of NCC, addressed several issues, such as the new cotton subsidy policy of China, the present world cotton market and price, and the competition between chemical fiber and cotton etc. He holds that the newly-released cotton subsidy policy imposes little threat to American cotton growers and that cotton is irreplaceable in spite of all the challenges. In addition, Kevin Latner from CCI introduced the efforts they have made to promote American cotton to the world.
