Russia’s exports of cotton textiles were 30.6 million square meters from January to March 2020, an increase of 37.2% compared to the first quarter of 2019. In terms of value, Russian cotton textile exports increased by 4.1% to USD 12.8 million.

In March 2020, the export volume of Russian cotton textiles exceeded 10.8 million square meters, an increase of 40.1% from March 2019. The export value was USD 4 million, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%.

From January to March 2020, Russia imported 78.4 million square meters of cotton textiles, an increase of 7.2% compared with the first quarter of 2019, and the import value was USD 44.3 million, an increase of 11% year-on-year.

In March 2020, Russia imported more than 28.7 million square meters of cotton textiles, an increase of 20.4% year-on-year. The import value was USD 15.6 million, an increase of 24.8%.
