On May 28, we learned from the green fiber product certification online conference that under the premise that nearly 30 chemical fiber companies have obtained the green fiber mark certificate and green fiber product certification, in order to pass the green concept to downstream companies, green fiber product certification is officially launched.

For enterprises that use green fibers as raw materials for product production, they must apply in accordance with the “Green Fiber Product Certification Rules (Trial)” issued by the China Chemical Fiber Association in 2020. Green fiber products refer to products using green fiber certification as raw materials, and all products except for fibers in the textile industry chain stipulated in the green fiber product certification rules, including yarns, fabrics, clothing, home textiles, and industrial textiles. Among the product content requirements for certification, the weight ratio of bio-based chemical fiber products must be more than 40%; the weight ratio of liquid coloring fiber or recycled fiber products must be more than 50%; it contains two or three kinds of green fiber products, the total weight ratio can be more than 50%. Product quality must meet the requirements of relevant standards (including national standards, industry standards and group standards).
