On December 13, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Xinda Group’s 300,000-ton bio-based composite material project was held in Pingfang District, Harbin New District. After the project is fully completed, it will become the largest bio-based composite material production base in China.

It is reported that Xinda Group, as a domestic leader in modified plastics, actively responded to the call to implement the “Billions” project in Heilongjiang Province and invested 2.6 billion yuan to build a 300,000-ton-grade bio-based composite material industrial base with a total construction area of 132,600 square meters. The project will build a comprehensive building and four factory buildings, equipped with 42 bio-based composite material production lines, mainly producing PLA / mineral composite materials, PLA / biomass composite materials, PLA / biodegradable composite materials, PP / biomass composite materials, and bio-based PA composite materials, the remaining 16 production lines (including 6 pilot production lines, 10 masterbatch production lines) project main products are bio-based polyamide composites, bio-based / mineral composites, bio-based / biomass composite materials, bio-based / biodegradable composite materials, petroleum-based / biomass composite materials, five major categories of products, mainly used in automobiles, new energy and power equipment, electronic appliances, rail transit and other fields.

The project is expected to be put into production in 2023 and to reach full production in 2025. It will realize an annual sales income of 5.229 billion yuan, a profit of 747 million yuan, and taxes of 292 million yuan.
