In response to the needs of academia, researchers and practitioners, the establishment of the “Artificial Intelligence on Fashion and Textile Alliance” aims to become a platform for the exchange of textile fashion AI information through a non-commercial organization, which runs through academia, supply and production , design, branding and other related practitioners, sharing resources to achieve a win-win situation.

AIFT 2019 provides an open platform for researchers, engineers and industry professionals in the field of artificial intelligence and fashion textiles to discuss how to work together towards the “Industry 4.0” and “New Retail Era”. This year, three keynote speakers were invited to discuss with the audience the key applications and comprehensive analysis of the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence brings to the textile and fashion industry.

AIFT 2019 solicits papers from researchers in the field of AI and fashion textiles, and invites them to express their opinions on the basic theories, principles and technologies of artificial intelligence and their applications in fashion and textiles. Finally, more than 40 papers are selected, and more than 30 experts from China, the United Kingdom, Singapore, South Korea, and Hong Kong, China have assembled a number of topics on the application and technology of fashion textile AI. A number of paper authors held original paper releases in the Shanghai New International Expo Center conference room today and tomorrow.
