
China (Dalian) International Garment & Textile Fair (CIGF) was grandly opened in 2019. The exhibition area of the Fair is 36,000 square meters. More than 800 enterprises at home and abroad were invited to participate in the exhibition. Overseas clothing brands account for more than 35%, domestic self-owned clothing brands account for 45%, textiles and apparel accessories account for 20%. The professional visitors at home and abroad reached more than 100,000.
The main pavilion on the first floor of World Expo Center includes international apparel exhibition area, domestic brand apparel exhibition area, textile fabrics and accessories exhibition area, well-known designer works exhibition area at home and abroad, cashmere exhibition area, down exhibition area, fur exhibition area, textile intangible cultural heritage exhibition area, Liaoning apparel exhibition area, etc. The conference room on the second floor is the summit forum, Dalian release, academic lectures, docking meetings and other venues. Dalian Z28 Fashion Silicon Valley also held Dalian Autumn Fashion Week.
This session created a stage for the release of fashion ideas and fashion trends; a fast-track for domestic brands to go global; a window for international brands to connect with the Northeast Asian market; and a platform for high-end custom exhibitions.
The Fair continued to expand the participation of overseas brands, further optimize the participating countries and regions, and enhance the internationalization. We strengthened investment promotion in Europe and America, Japan and South Korea, Russia, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions, intensify cooperation with international trade associations and organizations, organized nearly 200 exhibitors, and increase the number of countries and regions participating in exhibitions. Nearly 30 overseas friendship associations participating in the Fair were involved.
During the Fair, an international buyers’ precision matchmaking meeting was held, and a combination of pre-matching and on-site promotion were adopted to promote seamless linking between buyers and exhibitors. Nearly one hundred buyers from more than 20 countries and regions including Russia, the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Belarus, India, Pakistan, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia were invited to participate in the meeting; Dashang Group, a leading local commercial enterprise in Dalian, organized near hundreds of purchasing managers and more than 40 exhibiting companies to go to the exhibition site for docking. In the competition of many clothing exhibitions at home and abroad, this precise demand connection with the purpose of intervention from the recruitment period has made the service fair become the consistent choice of many exhibitors for many years. This move was also conducive to the realization of the international promotion of the Fair, and enhanced the brand influence of the city and enterprises.
