Academician and experts gather in Ningbo to exchange and promote the scientific and technological achievements of recycling and reuse

China is the world's largest producer and consumer of chemical fibers, with large reserves of waste products, but the regeneration rate is less than 10%. Polyester fibers are the leading products of chemical fibers. At present, most of the waste polyesters and their products are treated as garbage landfill or incineration, and their recycling is the key to the sustainable development of textile and chemical fibers industry.
Promote the development of recycling textile processing in a wide and deep way in the whole industry, and realize a wider and more efficient recycling of resources. April 3-4, organized by the Textile Vision Science & Education Fund, the Ministry of Science and Technology Development of China National Textile and Apparel Council, and the Science and Technology Development Center of Textile Industry, the "Textile Vision" recycling technology and application of scientific and technological achievements in textile processing promotion activities were held in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The activities are undertaken by the Key Laboratory of Design and Preparation of New Polyester Fibers in Textile Industry and the Technical Innovation Center of Regenerated Polyester Fibers in Textile Industry.
Through thematic reports, high-end interviews, on-site dialogues, field visits and other forms, the conference exchanged the development of recycling textile processing technology.
