China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will help enterprises cope with technical barriers to trade

China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will initiate consultation and agency on product testing and certification to help SMEs cope with technical barriers to trade in exports. Zhang Guofu, director of the Trade Promotion and Exchange Center of CCPIT, said that the purpose of this product testing and certification agency is to help enterprises keep abreast of the latest information of the export target countries, conduct the required testing and certification in accordance with the regulations, deal with technical barriers to trade and trade frictions, and promote the growth of foreign trade exports.

 
 
According to reports, the forthcoming consultation and agency on product testing and certification mainly covers mechanical and electronic products, textile and garment products, food and medicine products. These are the main export forces of China.
 
At present, CCPIT has signed cooperation agreements with well-known European and American authorities such as the United States Independent Testing Laboratory Alliance Committee, Washington Laboratory and European Standards Consulting Center. Details of cooperation are being discussed with relevant institutions in South Africa, Russia and Israel, and cooperation agreements will be signed in the first half of this year.
 
Zhang Guofu said that through cooperation with foreign institutions, CCPIT will further help Chinese enterprises to meet the advanced foreign product standards, improve product quality, enhance the competitiveness of products in developed countries, and help enterprises develop the market along the " Belt and Road" and stabilize the export of foreign trade.
