Zhejiang enterprises accelerated the layout of extile and apparel industry in Xinjiang

On May 13th, the 1000th China-Europe train(Yiwu - Madrid) pulled out from Yiwu West station, and would pass through Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, Poland, Germany, France, and finally arrived at the destination, Madrid, Spain.   
 
China-Europe train was a perfect service platform to shorten transit time and reduce logistics costs, which was a rare opportunity for enterprises.  
 
Xia Naijun, vice president of Jieliya Xin Yue Silk Road Co., Ltd. indicated that at present, the company was trying to docking China-Europe train, and was expected to get on the track of the “silk road”. The products of the company could only be transported by land to Zhejiang, Ningbo, then by sea to Europe before. We could not only save time, but also reduce transportation costs if adopting China-Europe train.  
 
As the key project, the company is located in Aral city, “Source of China’s long-staple cotton”, with total investment of 2.7 billion yuan, covering the whole industry chain of cotton spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing.
 
Xia Naijun introduced that the company had over 200 stores in Germany, France, Italy and other European countries, and sales of 2016 exceeded 3 million Euros. At present, the company, based on Xinjiang, actively negotiated with Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to enter European market and Central Asian market and further to promote economic and trade exchanges.  
 
Under the background of “the Belt and Road Initiative”, Xinjiang textile and apparel industry stands at a new historical starting point. In the development layout of “Three cities, seven parks & one center” about Xinjiang textile industry, Akesu is the “first city”. Founded in 2010, Akesu textile industry city has been included in Xinjiang key projects to docking “the Belt and Road Initiative”.  
 
Yang Ying, deputy director of management committee of Akesu textile industry city (development zone) put forward that after calculation, investment in textile and apparel industry in Akesu saved 12% - 16% in costs at least. Up to now, the development zone has accumulated 68 textile clothing enterprises, and initially formed the industrial chain.
 
Identifying the opportunity of “the Belt and Road Initiative”, Zhejiang enterprises have accelerated the layout of textile and apparel industry in Xinjiang, including well-known enterprises such as Youngor Group, zhejiang Litian CO., Ltd., Zhejiang Yongxiang Group and so on.
