What is the most unforgettable moment in film
It is not the boisterous cheers from the podium, but rather the scene where Zhang Chi—played by Shen Teng—finds his vision completely obscured during the race, yet continues to speed across the gravel track, relying solely on his navigator and the tactile instincts honed over years of practice. This represents a skill etched into his very bones—experience forged through countless trials and refinements.
Beyond the film, Shishi Kingwe Textile Co., Ltd. does not blindly pursue output or compete on price; instead, it chooses to devote itself to the research and development of functional technological materials. In the film
From the racetrack to textiles, the seamless collaboration of two enthusiasts
This cross-industry collaboration represents a mutual pursuit between professionals from two fields. The leader of Shishi Kingwe Textile is a seasoned racing enthusiast who not only holds a racing license but also possesses an in-depth understanding of the extreme demands of motorsport equipment. When the film crew set out to create professional racing suits and sought a partner with strong technical expertise, Shishi Kingwe Textile stepped in with its advanced woven stretch fabric technology, becoming the film’s partner for functional equipment.
From yarn spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing to garment production—the entire process from design to delivery is completed seamlessly within 45 days. The weaving mill has 100 Italian imported high-speed rapier looms, the dyeing and printing mill has 12 stenter production lines, and the post-finishing stage features digital printing equipment. These advanced hardware assets are not exclusive to Kingwe Textile; what truly distinguishes the enterprise is the technological roadmap and professional dedication embodied by this hardware, as well as the absolute confidence derived from the highly efficient, full-chain synergy possessed by Shishi Kingwe Textile.
Shishi Kingwe Textile stands as Invista’s largest distributor of Cordura® products in China. Their successful breakthroughs in overcoming the technical barriers associated with Cordura® products—coupled with their independent research and development efforts regarding recycled yarn processing and advanced dyeing technologies—have earned them widespread recognition within the field of functional textile fabrics.
Details! The 'technological surge' behind the apparel
When designing the promotional apparel for the film crew, the R&D team at Shishi Kingwe Textile faced a tricky challenge: the apparel's colors needed to replicate the classic red, white, and black scheme of Zhang Chi's racing car. Using ordinary dyes would easily cause color migration, turning the white edges black and causing the red borders to bleed. Kingwe Textile selects world-leading environmentally friendly dyes, and combines them with its independently developed dyeing process. By repeatedly adjusting the parameters, they achieved a colorfastness rating of level 4 or higher, completely eliminating the problem of cross-color contamination.
Considering the wearing needs of the stars during the roadshow, Kingwe Textile also incorporated five core technologies into the jacket: high elasticity and tear resistance, breathability and quick-drying, windproof and water-repellent properties, abrasion-resistant protection, and lightweight, skin-friendly comfort. These features ensure the apparel delivers both style and functionality.
"Driving" discarded plastic bottles onto the racetrack of the Western Sichuan Plateau
"Beyond the finish line, lies the next starting line." This movie quote fits perfectly with Shishi Kingwe Textile's journey toward environmental sustainability.
The filming location of
Lin Zhendong's racing suit and the outdoor crew uniforms for the filming team are both made from Recycle Cordura® recycled yarn. Produced from recycled materials—such as discarded fishing nets and waste plastic bottles—the apparel retains the high abrasion resistance and tear strength of Cordura®, while simultaneously reducing carbon emissions by 38%.
Behind the research, development and application of recycled yarn lies considerable technical difficulty: the reduced purity of recycled materials can affect dye uptake and color fastness. To solve this, Kingwe Textile exclusively adopts specialized eco-friendly dyes throughout its entire process. This approach not only ensures vibrant colors but also guarantees that all post-dyeing wastewater fully complies with national discharge standards, thereby safeguarding the pristine ecological environment of Western Sichuan.
Kingwe Textile’s investment in ecological protection and environmental sustainability represents a long-term strategic commitment. The company integrates environmental principles throughout the entire lifecycle—from R&D and production to final delivery—and has successfully obtained green certifications such as GRS and Bluesign®, ensuring that every meter of fabric embodies the company's responsibility and commitment.
Fujian enterprises have always been known for their tenacious, hard-working spirit. In the view of Shishi Kingwe Textile, "hard work" is never about reckless action, but about settling down and doing one thing to perfection.
