Recently, the National Standardization Administration issued Announcement No. 1 of 2026, officially approving the establishment of the Subcommittee 1 on Nonwoven Material of National Technical Committee 606 on Technical Textiles of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC606/SC1) and Subcommittee 2 on Filtration and Separation Textiles of National Technical Committee 606 on Technical Textiles of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC606/SC2). The formation of these two subcommittees marks a crucial step in the standardization development of China's industrial textiles sector in specialized fields. 

 

SAC/TC606/SC1 is primarily responsible for the standardization of nonwoven materials (excluding those used for filtration, separation, and geotechnical applications) in areas such as basic fundamentals, testing methods, and product performance, corresponding to the work scope of the Nonwoven Textiles Subcommittee (ISO/TC38/WG9) on International Organization for Standardization's Textiles Technical Committee.The committee is composed of 57 members, with Li Guimei as the chairman, Ma Yongmei, Cui Yanzhao, and Cai Weilong as vice chairmen, Liu Feifei as a committee member and secretary-general, and Huang Jingying as a committee member and deputy secretary-general. The secretariat is undertaken by the Textile Industry Standardization Research Institute.

 

The SAC/TC606/SC2 is mainly responsible for the standardization of basic and general testing methods, product performance, and other fields of textile materials used in filtration and separation nationwide. It is composed of 51 members. Li Yuhao serves as the Chairman, Feng Wen, Liu Jingxian, and Liu Feifei serve as Vice Chairmen, Zhu Ruidian serves as Secretary General, and Huang Jingying serves as Deputy Secretary General. The Secretariat is located at Guangzhou Inspection and Testing Certification Group Co., Ltd.
