At the Tokyo Fashion Week 2025, the final showcase featured Tamme, a newly established Japanese designer brand, garnering significant attention from the global fashion community. Tamme utilized textile materials from FLYTEC, a Chinese company specializing in functional fabrics and smart wearable products. This collaboration resulted in a fashion show that blended functionality with artistry, showcasing the potential of integrating technology into fashion. The collection's tailoring, avant-garde designs, and practical style garnered significant acclaim, leading to Tamme's triumph at the TOKYO FASHION AWARD 2025 and the attention of Japan's leading fashion media. This success highlights the potential for Chinese technology to redefine the boundaries of fashion innovation.

How to better adapt to modern life

Tamme is a brand that combines tradition with innovation. The company's philosophy is rooted in the principles of "deconstruction and reconstruction." This approach entails the creation of new products that draw upon the essence of traditional clothing, incorporating timeless elements into contemporary designs, and developing novel fashion styles.

In this collaboration, Tamme utilizes IWARM intelligent temperature control technology to integrate its innovative designs with cutting-edge technology, redefining the conventional standards of dressing by combining practical features with modern designs to create comfortable, durable, and functional garments," says Tamme's director, Tatsuya Tamada. "While focusing on the appearance, I have always considered the actual needs of the wearer. I always take the wearer's actual needs into consideration, and strive to make every piece of work expressing 'how to better adapt to modern life,'" said Tatsuya Tamada, Tamme's director. Collaborating with FLYTEC let me feel the boundaries of what traditional materials can achieve. This collaboration not only enhances the functionality of fashion but also enables more creative designs. I'm excited to use these materials in fashion design."

  Immersive co-creation

Following Fashion Week in April, FLYTEC hosted a three-day launch event in Tokyo. The event brought together many well-known outdoor brands, including Goldwin, DESCENTE, Gramicci, New Balance, and wander, Millet, Under Armour, Workman, F/CE and a lot of Japanese local designers.

This conference diverged from the conventional fabric display format, and constructed an immersive product solution space. This space featured a comprehensive display of products, including functional fabrics, intelligent temperature control modules. These products were utilized in various scenarios, including urban commuting, hiking, skiing, and more. The conference provided a valuable opportunity for guests to experience and discuss ways to enhance the performance and integration of products in practical applications. Attendees had the opportunity to experience the products firsthand, engage in in-depth conversations, and explore strategies for enhancing and combining these products in real-world applications.

Brands like Goldwin and DESCENTE said, "We see more than just simple materials. We see a complete solution idea that can really meet the user's needs and promote brand innovation."

  Technology going overseas

At this event, FLYTEC presented its intelligent temperature control system, IWARM. This system facilitates dynamic temperature control and body comfort management through intelligent chips, flexible heating components, and adjustable temperature parts. IWARM is a versatile solution that has found wide application in various products, including jackets, gloves, and shoes.

The IWARM design is both comfortable and safe. Its versatility allows for seamless integration with a wide range of structures and styles. FLYTEC is promoting the internationalization of China's functional textile expression with its "Material Technology + Wearable Intelligence" solutions.

  From Annecy to Tokyo

From Annecy, France to Tokyo, FLYTEC is using fabric to weave a broader international strategy. Its series of activities is aiming to eliminate barriers within the industry, facilitate knowledge exchange, prioritize user needs, and incentivize collaboration among brands, designers, and all players in the supply chain to generate new products and solutions.

FLYTEC is eager to collaborate with other companies to enhance fabric performance, develop smart wearable systems, and utilize these systems in various scenarios. Many guests on the scene noted that the event functioned as a genuine industry exchange, not merely a display. " We look forward to inviting more colleagues to FLYTEC’s next event."

  Conclusion

When the intelligent temperature control system meets the multi-functional fabric solution, and when the technological materials collide with the diversified wearing scenarios, FLYTEC is no longer a traditional fabric supplier, but a creative and pioneering international brand.

This is the most exciting new Chinese fashion brand FLYTEC. They have the ability to chat with designers on aesthetic considerations backstage at Fashion Week, and they are also able to experiment with technology and materials in the laboratory.

FLYTEC team members are passionate about what they do, and they're always eager to share that passion with everyone. This is because they believe that every stop will bring them one step closer to creating better products.
