Duan Jianguo said: "Polylactic acid can be blended with traditional natural cotton, hemp, wool and silk and also other chemical fibers such as spandex, PTT blends made of fabrics, and the market application space is huge."



In order to realize green empowerment, after the implementation of the national "plastic ban", Longfu aimed at new business opportunities, cooperated with Zhu Meifang’s team, based on the State Key Laboratory for Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials (SKLFPM), did innovative research and development of more than 30 varieties of cross-shaped, trefoil-type, hollow-type, and other series of moisture-absorbent filaments, and successfully linked with the industry chain upstream and downstream enterprises to achieve the development and mass production of high-end PLA filament-"He Yuan silk", and established a 10,000-ton high-end PLA filament production base. In 2021, Longfcooperated with academician Zhu Meifang's team to develop and apply the project of high value development of domestic high-quality polylactic acid and its fiber industry chain. And it won the First Prize of Technical Invention of Chinese Materials Research Society.

Duan Jianguo introduced that Longfhas set up Longchuang Fuyuan Fiber Science and Technology Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, established a green fiber brand operation center, led by the two brands of "Xing Yuan" and "He Yuan", relying on the front-end of the LongfLow-Carbon Industrial Park, the middle of the docking fabric merchants, and the downstream of baby and children's wear, sports wear and home textile products and other brand manufacturers, through brand authorization, to achieve the value of the whole industrial chain symbiosis.



Creating the first recycled polyester industry chain
Longfor has integrated the concept of green and low-carbon development into the DNA of enterprise development from the very beginning of its establishment, and resolved to walk out of a high-end, differentiated, green and characteristic development road.



In order to avoid homogenization competition, Duan Jianguo bravely jumped out of the "comfort zone", increased scientific research investment in the recycling of waste polyester, under his leadership, after countless failures and difficulties, and finally succeeded in the development of the "Technology for the production of recycled polyester filament yarn from waste polyester bottle chips". This technology solves the world-wide technical problems of 100% production of polyester filament yarn from waste polyester bottle chips, and has won 8 national patents. on July 7, 2007, the first regenerated polyester filament production line using waste polyester bottle chips as raw material was put into production, completely rewriting the history of China that it can only produce staple fibers from waste polyester bottles.



In 2011, Longfu and Donghua University set up a joint research and development center. Professor Zhu Meifang is the technical director of the center, led the technical team to overcome the problems that waste polyester can not directly produce polyester filament. Five technical achievements have passed the provincial and ministerial level appraisal. It fills the gaps in the country, and reachthe international leading level. Not only it obtained the authorization of the invention of 13 patents, but also won the first prize of the Science and Technology Advancement issued by China National Textile and Apparel Council, the third prize of the Science and Technology Advancement of Shandong Province and more than 10 awards. We have won more than 10 awards, such as the first prize of scientific and technological progress of China Textile Federation, the third prize of Shandong Province, etc. ...... Longfu has participated in the formulation of 4 national standards, 7 industry standards and a number of association standards as the main drafting unit, and its two products have been listed in the program of "National Key New Products" of the Ministry of Science and Technology.



In addition Longfu continuously extendthe industrial chain, and it established the world's first complete industrial chain from recycling of waste polyester bottles, processing of bottle chips, production of recycled polyester filament yarn and weaving of recycled polyester blankets.
