China’s industrial capacity utilization rate stood at 77.1 percent in the third quarter, up 0.4 percentage points from the same period last year, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said.

In the third quarter, the utilization rate of manufacturing capacity was 77.3 percent, up 0.1 percentage points. In the first three quarters, the utilization rate of manufacturing capacity was 77.9 percent, up 4.4 percentage points. In the third quarter, the capacity utilization rate of textile industry was 79.5 percent, up 3.3 percentage points; in the first three quarters, the capacity utilization rate of textile industry was 79.6 percent, up 7.2 percentage points. In the third quarter, the capacity utilization rate of chemical fiber manufacturing was 83.5 percent, up 0.6 percentage points; In the first three quarters, the utilization rate of chemical fiber manufacturing capacity was 85.2 percent, up 6.1 percentage points.
