Chasing Opportunities for Garment Enterprises

China Garment Buyers Meetings and Fair were held on 23th October at in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, as the important commercial event of Ningbo Garment Festival. Song Dajun, the deputy director of Ningbo Economy and Information Committee, Mr. Wang Yao, the deputy president of China Business Association and director of National Commercial Information Center, Ms Kong Lei, the director of Impact Testing Co. Ltd. were invited, domestic and overseas garment brands and enterprises presented. They analyzed the trend of development of garments deeply, releasing the platform advantage and service function, focusing on channel resources, accomplishing seamless purchase to promote the establishment of Ningbo garment brands and even all of the textile and garment 

The deputy president of China Business Association and director of National Commercial Information Center Wang Yao, themed “Chinese consumer market and development of textile and garment” share the trend and changes in the new normal economy.

Even the custom market is still under pressure this year , but since June, it is increasing moderately. Regarding to garment industry, for the first eight months, men’s wear presents better than women’s wear, and on the whole, the growth rate of garment is better than the last year. It is growing by 4.7% and previous year is -2.4% , of them, the outdoor presents outstanding, increasing  rapidly during these years with 9.1 % growth last year, maintaining 7.1% growth this year. While the garment industry perform trend that concentration ratio slide down than before,  it reflect that consumers are not idolatrous brand, but tended to opt for their favorite brand. 

Wang considered that consumer behavior has obviously changed from king commodity king channel to today toward king consumer today. The consumers have begun to focus on emotional consumption, how to sale products, experience, environment is a significant trend in the future. Both of them will bring better sense judgment and build public praise to accomplish the marketing.

Kong Lei ,general manager of Impact Testing Co. Ltd, as product testing figure, analyzed from quality angel so as to improve level of brand to be a win-win. Kong said, products that meet market demand, not only itself design, fashion, must conform to both of market access limitation and market regulatory requirement to achieve success. The issues of substandard goods occurred frequently, it is greatly harmful to consumers. The brands must maintain strict quality control from design to source, processing, testing, sales, in any cases, each product through professional testing was improved national standard


There were tens of garment brands and enterprises from domestic and oversea area to introduce, from local to international luxury brand, covering commercial real estate, animation industry. It is accomplished that sale channels and resources come together.
