On April 18th, 11 textile projects in Jiangsu Tongzhou Bay Modern Textile Industrial Park started, marking the official opening of Tongzhou Bay Modern Textile Industrial Park. It is understood that the planned total area of the textile industrial park is 9.3 square kilometers, mainly for high-end fabric processing. At present, industrial parks have successively settled in various textile enterprises.

The industrial park plans to deploy international and domestic large-scale long-process enterprises and industrial textile manufacturers with finished textile products as terminal products, introduce high-end fabrics and upstream and downstream extension industries, serve the transformation and upgrading of high-end fabric processing technology in Nantong home textile industry, and strive to create a pilot area for national printing and dyeing industry transformation and upgrading, green ecology and sustainable development. The infrastructure is expected to be completed by June next year.

 

It is understood that the textile industry is a traditional advantageous industry in Nantong. Last year, the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone planned to build the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone Modern Textile Industrial Park, striving to complement the two key links of high-end fabric processing and new fiber materials, promote the improvement of the city’s modern textile industry chain system, and create an advanced manufacturing base for the new textile material industry in Tongzhou Bay with an economic aggregate of over 100 billion yuan.
