Aksu Textile Industry City (Development Zone) has created a total of 40,000 jobs, including 37,000 jobs in the textile and apparel industry and 5,994 jobs for poor people. In 2020, the total industrial output value reached 11.256 billion yuan, up 12 percent year-on-year; yarn output reached 240,000 tons, weaving 100 million meters, 4.5 million pieces (sets) of home textiles, 50.48 million pairs of socks, and 8,550 tons of dyeing and printing.
