Statistics from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics show that in October, Pakistan’s cotton imports increased by 790%, synthetic fiber imports increased by 67.6%, and other textile imports increased by 30%. In addition, textile machinery imports reached USD 46 million, an increase of 69.24% year-on-year. The increase in textile machinery imports will help the textile industry expand its production scale, and upgrading equipment will also further improve production efficiency.
