A few days ago, ACIMIT launched a digital certification project. Italian textile machinery manufacturers who have passed the digital certification can easily match their equipment with the customer’s production system.

Alessandro Zucchi, president of ACIMIT, explained the original intention of launching the project: “Member companies feel it is necessary to recommend customers to choose equipment with a common language so that they can match the customers’ diverse operating systems (ERP, MES, CRM, etc.). Therefore, the project was launched with a view to benefiting manufacturers in the entire industry.”

 

Digital certification - ACIMIT Digital Label will be issued to member companies that use the data model. In the long run, due to the adoption of a common device data interface and the easier and unified integration of equipment operating information of different equipment manufacturers in the operating system of the client company, the project will help equipment manufacturers improve their customer loyalty.
