In order to vigorously promote the development of the entire industrial chain of industrial hemp, Qinggang County has successively introduced Jinda Group, the world’s largest hemp spinning processing enterprise, and 15 upstream and downstream related enterprises. The industrial chain has been extended from raw material cultivation to textiles processing, new building materials, biological medicine and other fields. After Jinda Group invested 300 million yuan to build a 5,000-ton worsted industrial hemp yarn project, and invested 200 million yuan to build a 3,000-ton industrial hemp worsted fiber project, the county’s hemp textile processing capacity reached 60,000 spindles, and the main products were sold to more than 10 countries and regions including France, Italy, Belgium, etc., and has become key raw material purchasers for many international brand enterprises. At the same time, 6 standardized hemp mills and 11 production lines have been built.

In 2020, Qinggang County was determined by the national hemp industry technology system as the only industrial hemp industry workstation in the country, and it will become a key area for the national hemp industry technology system to support county economic development in the next 3 - 5 years. In the future, Qinggang County will focus on the construction goal of “China’s Industrial Hemp Valley”, make every effort to promote the high-quality development of industrial hemp, and build a full industrial hemp industry chain integrating raw material planting, production and processing, product development, inspection and testing, and market development, so as to achieve the goal of industrial hemp industrial park with an output value of 10 billion yuan.
