It was learned from the Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Development Zone) on August 18 that from January to July, textile and apparel enterprises above designated size achieved an output value of 3.991 billion yuan, and the textile and apparel industry promoted more than 10,000 jobs.

Liu Qin, director of the Economic Development Bureau of the Development Zone, introduced that the textile and apparel industry is one of the important industries in the Development Zone. This year, the Development Zone has continuously improved the coordination and promotion mechanism, actively promoted the implementation of various beneficial enterprise policies, and helped enterprises to overcome difficulties. In the first half of the year, 88 million yuan of special subsidies for textiles and apparel in the second half of the year were pre-appropriated; 38.67 million yuan of financial discount interest was reviewed and allocated for working capital loans. It is expected that more than 80 million yuan of financial discount funds will be allocated throughout the year to help the development of textile enterprises.
