The 2^nd-phase construction of Spandex project went into production in the middle of Oct. after successful mechanical operation and commissioning in Chang Le City of Fujian Province, with annual capacity of 25,000 tons of polyurethane chips, laying a new solid foundation for Fujian High-Sun Synthetic Tech. Corporation to build a synthetic fiber- textile integrated base of global importance.

   
    This is a continuous step of investments in Spandex projects by High-Sun Synthetics Tech after its first-phase of Spandex construction had a smooth sail and went on stream last year to produce textile-purposed chips that were running short of market rising demand both at home and abroad. So, the second construction was immediately started to catch up with the market-driven momentum in a fashion that shaped the traditional practices of building process. Instead of installing machines only after all the civil construction and buildings were finished, High-Sun Synthetics started to put proper machines in place step by step, synchronical with the construction schedules in due course, saving a lot of time, energy and financial burdens.

    In the new investment, High-Sun imported the latest technology of spinning process from TNT, Japan, featuring an enhanced number of spinning positions from 16 positions per machine in the previous project to 20 positions each for the new construction, increasing 20% working efficiency for each spinning machine. It is believed that High Sun will come up with 45,000 tons of Spandex chips for annual capacity this year.

    High-Sun Synthetics Tech Corporation is situated in the Harbor Industrial Park in Chang Le City of Fujian Province. It will invest about USD$1.7 billion in the new site with a construction schedule to be carried out in 5 phases that will come to an end in 2017, when the company will be grand base of global synthetic fiber production with 100,000 tons of Spandex spinning, 360,000 tons of Nylon6 chips and 360,000 tons of Nylon textile fibers.
