On November 12th, the symposium of Binzhou City to build a world-class textile and apparel industry base was held in Weiqiao Pioneering Group. Sun Ruizhe, president of China National Textile and Apparel Council, Yang Zhaohua, vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council, leaders of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and local key textile enterprises, and the experts gathered together to give advice and suggestions for the development of Binzhou textile industry.
Cao Yubin, deputy mayor of Binzhou City, presided over the meeting and introduced the development of Binzhou textile, home textile and garment industry. In recent years, the development of Binzhou textile and garment industry has three characteristics: First, the scale advantage is outstanding. The city has 178 textile and garment enterprises above designated size, with a spinning capacity of 11.7 million spindles, and the annual sales revenue of the cluster exceeds 140 billion yuan; second, there are many leading enterprises; third, the distinctive features.
Liu Jianguo, president of Shandong Textile and Apparel Industry Association, and the main person in charge of key textile enterprises in Binzhou City made a speech on the current situation facing the industry and enterprise response measures.
Yang Zhaohua, vice president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, said that under the current situation, the development of Binzhou textiles industry is focused on brand building and third-party market development. The first step is to do a good job in branding. Binzhou should make good use of regional brands, attract customers from home and abroad, encourage our companies to go glabol and encourage our companies to build brands. It is necessary to integrate international superior resources to open up the market.
Sun Ruizhe, president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, said that Binzhou should make a world-class voice in building the world textile and apparel industry base. He pointed out that a region that builds a world-class industrial cluster must have industrial scale and characteristics, have world-class leading and iconic enterprises and events, and can make world-class sounds. It is hoped that Binzhou City will find a foothold in the development process, based on the extension and improvement of the textile industry chain, and unswervingly make this industry the “label” of Binzhou.
Binzhou Municipal Party Committee Secretary She Chunming concluded that Binzhou has a unique advantage in building a “world-class textile and apparel industry base”. Binzhou has “industrial support”. In the process of development, Binzhou has an “internationalization strategy”. Binzhou City will do a good job in planning and positioning the “world-class textile and apparel industry base”, and issue policy support opinions to further provide guarantees for the improvement of the industrial chain and the improvement of the value chain.
During his stay in Binzhou, President Sun Ruizhe led a team to visit the Weiqiao Pioneering Group’s corporate pavilion.
