On the occasion of bidding farewell to the 12th Five-Year Program and saying hello to the 13th Five-Year Program, looking back to the past five years, every person engaged in textile industry in China will more or less sigh with a feeling that the 12th Five-Year Program for the Textile Industry is more scientific and down-to-earth than the previous Five-Year Programs, because a lot of task indicators in the 12th Five-Year Program were just completed in the second half of 2015.

During the five years, export value in the knitting industry accounted for 1/3 of the country’s textile and garment exports and 12% of total global textile and clothing trade.
 
During the five years, industrial textiles have presented more diversified applications, accounting for more than 25% in the whole textile industry.

During the five years, the wool textile industry has accelerated the pace of high-value industrial chain extension, such as cultural creativity, design, and brand.

During the five years, the bast and leaf fibers textile industry has maintained a strong momentum, together with growing popular life philosophy of stylish linen and green linen.

During the five years, the home textile industry has achieved remarkable results in brand building, constantly promoted cross-border cooperation, and increasingly accelerated industry internationalization.
