China's textile and apparel exports has experienced rapid development since China joined the WTO in 2001, especially after the cancellation of quota in 2005,with average annual growth rate of more than 20%. But since the 2008 financial crisis, Chinese textile and apparel export enter the medium and low growth channel, and the situation is more serious this year, declined by 4.6% in first eight months.
