On November 11, Humen and the China National Textile and Apparel Council signed an agreement in Beijing to jointly build a world-class textile and garment industry cluster pioneer zone. Yang Xiaotang, member of the Standing Committee of the Dongguan Municipal Committee and minister of Propaganda Department, said in his speech that the textile and garment industry is an important component of Dongguan’s manufacturing industry. After more than 40 years of development, it has achieved a transformation from “quantity” accumulation to “quality” and has formed a large-scale industrial clusters, well-equipped industrial chains and mature and developed market systems. As an important industrial cluster of textile and garment industry, Humen has been committed to building an industrial platform, cultivating fashion brands, promoting industrial synergy and innovation, and making an important effort to promote the transformation and upgrading of Dongguan textile and garment industry.
