New breakthrough in carbon fiber technology

On March 29, the "High-Strength Carbon Fiber Industrialization Technology Project" jointly undertaken by Weihai Tuozhan Fiber Co., Ltd. and Beijing University of Chemical Technology passed the acceptance test successfully. The expert group agreed that the product had completely independent intellectual property rights. The properties and stability of the product after carbonization were comparable to those of international T700S grade carbon fibers.
The acceptance is of great significance. The key spinning technology of 500 m/min breakthrough has promoted the upgrading of domestic carbon fiber dry-wet spinning technology. It is conducive to further reducing the production cost of dry-wet carbon fibers and further promoting the application of domestic carbon fibers. It will play a demonstration and leading role in this industry.
