Milan, 6 July 2026. Bringing together people, ideas and international expertise to foster meaningful connections across the textile world.

An evening of dialogue, shared vision and international connections marked the official presentation of Val:ue Milan at Corso Como 10, offering guests a first glimpse into a project designed around people, relationships and a common ambition: redefining the way the textile industry meets, collaborates and grows. Set in one of Milan's most inspiring locations, the event brought together selected media, industry associations, international buyers and key stakeholders who share a belief that business today is built not only on products and markets, but on trust, meaningful exchanges and long-term partnerships.

A curated ecosystem driven by community
At the heart of the project lies a strong community-driven approach, bringing together a handpicked network of professionals who share a common vision of excellence and longterm collaboration. More than a trade fair, Value Milan aims to foster a community of professionals who share common values, a passion for excellence and a desire to create lasting business relationships. Every aspect of the project is being shaped around this principle, from the selection of exhibitors to the experience offered to visitors.
Participation is developing through a careful curation and selection process designed to bring together a balanced mix of international companies and decision-makers. Supporting this vision is textile and fashion expert Ornella Bignami, whose contribution will help identify outstanding exhibiting companies while also strengthening connections with leading fashion schools, creative institutions and emerging talents.
As Federica Anastasio, Show Manager of Value Milan, explains: "At Value Milan, we believe that great products, expertise and creativity can come from anywhere. Our role is to create a platform where excellence can be recognised and where meaningful business connections can develop naturally. By carefully curating participation, we aim to ensure that every exhibitor has the right visibility and the opportunity to meet the people who can truly appreciate and value their offering".

The international dimension of the project is already taking shape. Among the first supporters is ITKIB – Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations, which has confirmed the participation of an important delegation of Turkish companies from the very first edition, highlighting the strong international interest surrounding the initiative.
An experience designed to inspire
At Value Milan, the environment is intended to be much more than a backdrop. It is an integral part of the experience. Every element is being developed to encourage discovery, dialogue and inspiration. The goal is to create an atmosphere that reflects the project's values: refined, welcoming and distinctly different from traditional industry events.
By combining thoughtful design with a strong sense of identity, Val:ue Milan seeks to offer participants a setting where business conversations happen naturally and meaningful connections can flourish.

Milan at the centre of an evolving strategy for Messe Frankfurt
Milan once again proves to be the natural stage for an initiative built on the interaction between creativity, craftsmanship and international business. As a globally recognised hub for fashion, design and innovation, the city provides the ideal environment for connecting people, ideas and opportunities across the textile value chain.
For Messe Frankfurt, Value Milan also represents an important step in the evolution of its fashion and textile portfolio. Building on the strength of the international Texpertise Network, the project reflects a commitment to a focused format that responds to this market’s expectations.

As highlighted by Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt: "With Value Milan, we are taking a further step in the evolution of our textile portfolio. Our ambition is to create a platform specifically tailored to the needs of this market, where carefully curated participation and meaningful business relationships come together to generate real value for all participants".
Looking ahead
As preparations continue, Value Milan is steadily growing into a community before becoming an event. Bringing together companies, buyers, institutions, experts and future talents, the platform aims to create a new meeting point for the textile industry — one where collaboration is encouraged, ideas are exchanged openly and long-term relationships can thrive.
