Jiangxi Yudu will build a 100 billion-level garment industry cluster

On the 17th, the first China (Zhangzhou) Textile and Apparel Fair, advised by the China National Textile and Apparel Council and the China National Garment Association, hosted by Ganzhou Municipal People’s government, was held in Yudu County, Jiangxi Province. In recent years, the textile and garment industry in Yudu County, Jiangxi Province has developed rapidly, and the industrial agglomeration effect has been highlighted. In the future, Yudu County will build a 100 billion-level garment industry in the center area of the city, becoming an international and domestic well-known brand clothing intelligent manufacturing supply chain base.
It is understood that Jiangxi Yudu County vigorously promotes the development of the garment industry, and introduces preferential policies that meet the characteristics of the industry and have comparative advantages from the land and capital levels, and invests 3 billion yuan to build ten major public service platforms, such as clothing design centers and logistics centers. The standard factory building has been built 1.52 million square meters.
Yudu County actively undertakes the transfer of coastal garment industry, set up 39 industrial investment teams, clarifies personnel, funds and investment areas, and accurately connects coastal garment quality enterprises. At present, it has signed 155 textile and apparel projects with a contracted amount of 25.932 billion yuan. According to Lan Jie, secretary of the Yudu County Party Committee, there are more than 2,200 textile and garment enterprises in the county, including 65 enterprises above designated size, 300,000 textile and garment workers, and the output value of the textile and garment industry chain has exceeded 40 billion yuan.
Chen Dapeng, vice president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, believes that Yudu County has a good position and abundant labor resources and is taking advantage of the latest round of opportunities for the transfer and upgrading of the apparel industry. As a newly growing apparel industry cluster, Yudu County is currently developing strongly in the fields of smart manufacturing and quality manufacturing in China.
