2019 Guangdong Fashion Week Spring – BIFT, Fashion China

On March 21, on the stage of Guangdong Fashion Week - Spring in 2019, Guangzhou Alumni Association of BIFT and the FDC Fabric jointly created the " BIFT, Fashion China - Salute to 60 anniversary of BIFT Show" which shocked the Guangdong fashion industry. This is a combined show representing the design power of Chinese fashion academics, and also the first time that Guangzhou alumni of BIFT appeared at Guangdong Fashion Week. It is also a fashion show that incorporates technology and big data.
In 2019, it is the 60th anniversary of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (BIFT). Launched by the Guangzhou Alumni Association of BIFT and organized by the FDC Fabric, nine famous designers joined hands with seven major fashion brands and the FDC Fabric to create a joint show in honor of the 60th anniversary of our alma mater.
The combined show is trying to break through the traditional fashion week display form. It is the first time to introduce the top designers' combined show form from China's top fashion institute into Guangdong Fashion Week. It represents the Guangdong design force of BIFT. With content originality and scenario experience as the core, it gathers the top resources in fashion, Internet of Things, manufacturing and new retail fields at home and abroad, and promotes the development of fashion industry in Dawan District of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the founding of BIFT.
After the show, a licensing ceremony was held for Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology Training Center to settle down in Guangzhou FDC Fabric. Li Ji, dean of School of Continue Education in BIFT, and Cao Yuan, director of Guangzhou FDC Fabric attended the licensing ceremony. President Li Ji said that School of Continue Education in BIFT will work with FDC Fabric to create a fashion design area in Dawan District, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
At the end of the conference, the award ceremony of "Fashion Promotion Originality Agency Award" pushed the whole event to a climax. Bu Xiaoqiang, chairman of Guangdong Association of Garment and Garment Article Industry (GAGGAI), Liu Yueping, executive chairman of GAGGAI and Wang Jia, vice chairman of Guangdong Fashion Designers Association awarded the "Fashion Driving Force Original Institution Award" to the designers of the participating brands.
