On March 17th, the first batch of 10 tons of locally produced melt blown material in Xinjiang was developed and produced by the Research Institute of PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Company, which can not only solve the problem of raw material supply for melt blown nonwovens manufacturers upstream, but also save costs for mask manufacturers downstream. It also means that Xinjiang has the self-sufficiency of the whole industry chain of masks. This batch of melt blown material is expected to produce 9 tons of high-quality melt blown nonwovens, and eventually nearly 9 million disposable medical surgical masks.
