On September 15th, the Wangtai Textile Machinery Museum opened in Qingdao West Coast New District. The museum is the country’s first museum with the theme of textile machinery, which fully displays the development of the Wangtai textile machinery industry.

The Wangtai Textile Machinery Museum has an exhibition area of more than 1,500 square meters and a collection of more than 300 cultural relics of various types. It has 4 chapters and 18 exhibition areas, integrating history, science and art.

 

It is reported that Wangtai Sub-district ranks among the top three textile machinery bases in the country. After more than 70 years of development history, Wangtai Sub-district has gathered nearly 400 textile machinery manufacturers, and an annual production capacity of 70,000 sets. The output of carding machines accounts for 85% of the country’s total sales. The output of water jet looms accounts for 90% of the country. At present, Wangtai Sub-district has become the country’s largest production base for shuttleless looms and water jet looms, and is the only characteristic industrial cluster town in China that has been awarded the honorary title of “China Textile Machinery Town” by the CNTAC.

 

It is understood that Wangtai Sub-district has fully launched the planning and construction of the Smart Textile Machinery Industrial Park, fully promoting the centralized development of textile machinery enterprises and the intelligent development of the textile machinery industry. In the future, Wangtai Sub-district will also establish a New Kinetic Energy Industry Federation to continuously improve Wangtai Textile Machinery’s influence in the domestic and international markets.
