The profit ratio of textile industry above designated size increased by 3.2% in the first May

The National Bureau of Statistics recently announced that in January - May, the total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 2379.02 billion yuan, down 2.3% year-on-year, the decline was 1.1 percentage points lower than that in January - April.
From January to May, the manufacturing industry realized a total profit of 1,951.94 billion yuan, a decrease of 4.1%. From January to May, among the 41 major industrial sectors, the total profit of 26 industries increased, and 15 industries decreased year-on-year. The textile industry above designated size achieved a total profit of 39.11 billion yuan, an increase of 3.2%. The textiles and apparel industry above designated size achieved a total profit of 30.79 billion yuan, down 1.3%. The gross profit of leather, fur, feathers and their products and footwear industry above designated size reached 25.25 billion yuan, an increase of 7.0%. The chemical fiber manufacturing industry above designated size achieved a total profit of 10.72 billion yuan, down 16.6%.
